About the circuit
The Beauharnois-Salaberry Regional Park, a vast multifunctional space, connects the old Beauharnois canal, located in the heart of the town of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and where thousands of boaters and tourists converge in season, to the current canal de Beauharnois (Seaway) which crosses the MRC territory from west to east to the Beauharnois hydroelectric power station, a major attraction of our region.
Paved over 72 km, located in an enchanting setting and combining riverside and rural landscapes, the Regional Park trail is part of the Route verte. It runs along the banks of the impressive Beauharnois Canal and crosses the agricultural lands of Beauharnois, Saint-Étienne-de-Beauharnois and Sainte-Martine.
