MUNICIPALITÉ DE SAINT-DENIS-SUR-RICHELIEU
The proposed experience
Located along the Richelieu River, 60 kilometers southeast of Montreal, Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu is part of the Richelieu Valley RCM. Saint-Denis is known for the splendor of its landscapes, stunning views of the Richelieu River, the impressive extent of agricultural land, and a heritage that is steeped in historical milestones that took place there. St. Denis-sur-Richelieu was the scene of some major events that changed the course of the history of Quebec: the Patriots Rebellions of 1837 and 1838. Located in the heart of the village, the unique Maison Nationale des Patriotes Interpretation Center honors this past and the history of the Patriots in Lower Canada.
