The proposed experience
Strategically located just 15 kilometers from downtown Montreal, the Montreal Metropolitan Airport is the second largest airport in the Montreal region. With nine boarding gates on a 21,000 m² surface area able to accommodate 4 million travellers a year, and a rapid shuttle service between the terminal and downtown, the MET aims to improve the experience of travellers and citizens alike. When it opens in 2026, passengers will be able to fly to several new Canadian and regional destinations.
